Reporting: Dashboards, PDF/CSV Export & Scheduled Reports
The Reporting module turns Notory's flexible data model into saved, reusable report definitions with aggregation - over your own record types, grouped by relations, exportable as PDF or CSV, and scheduled to run automatically when you need it. No separate BI tool required.
Saved report definitions
Build reports over your own record types, with aggregation and grouping by relations between records - not just fixed asset fields, but your entire flexible data model.
PDF export
Export reports straight to PDF - ready to hand to clients, management, or bring along to a client meeting, without a detour through another tool.
CSV export
Export the same report data as CSV for further processing in spreadsheets, accounting, or other systems.
Scheduled reports & snapshots
Reports can run automatically on a schedule. Every run produces a stored, timestamped snapshot - so history is kept for comparison over time, instead of only a live one-off view.
Example: a monthly asset value report for the client meeting
An IT service provider manages several clients and keeps their assets as custom record types in Notory. For each client they build a report that aggregates asset value grouped by client and site. The report runs automatically once a month, and every run is stored as a snapshot - progress and history can be compared at any time. Ahead of the monthly client meeting, the provider exports the latest snapshot as a PDF and brings it along.

Questions on Reporting
What is the Reporting module and what can I build with it?
With the Reporting module you create saved report definitions over your own record types - including aggregation and grouping by relations between records. That turns Notory's flexible no-code data model into reusable business reports, without needing a separate BI tool.
Which export formats are supported?
Reports can be exported as CSV and as PDF. CSV is suited for further processing in spreadsheets or other systems, PDF for handing straight to clients or management.
Which tier includes Reporting?
Reporting is part of advanced flexibility (automation, reporting) and is included automatically from Professional (Pro) upward - no separate toggle and no extra cost. Higher tiers from Pro up receive the module automatically as well.
Reports that keep themselves up to date
Reporting is included automatically from Pro - no separate BI tool needed. Compare plans or request a live demo.
